For The Calendar Year 2011

This year's IndyInsiders.Com Awards were decided after a nomination process and voted upon by the Insiders. Then we basically politic amongst ourselves via email until everyone is tired of arguing or it's so close to presentation time we have to make the final decisions. Or something to that effect.
Actually, for the first year ever, all three of the deciding judges were on the same track, with almost 8 of this year's 9 awards decided upon after our initial correspondence, and yes, that is a first! We'd like to thank our friends at Funk & Wagnall's for allowing us to safely store the results in a mayonnaise jar on their back porch from decision time until the award presentations.
The 2011 Awards continue to cover an entire calendar year, as began with the 2005 awards. Thanks to EVERYONE that steps between the ropes to make these great wrestling events possible and thanks to those that work behind the scenes to make it all come together. Without you guys, and gals, we'd be blogging about politics and sharing photos of our pets instead of covering exciting Mid Atlantic area wrestling.
