Tempers AND Temperatures Rise at CWF ABSOLUTE JUSTICE 2014!

A Special Report!

Mid Atlantic Sportatorium

Gibsonville, NC

Jordan Flyght upset Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Manny Garcia in the first round of the 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup as part of the Swede Hanson Block. Garcia retains his championship by rule as all tournament matches are non-title.

"The Army of One" Marcellus King defeated Court Montgomery in the first round of the 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup as part of the Swede Hanson Block.

CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions the Killbillies (Aric Andrews & Evan Banks w/Bobby Joe Neil) won a wild three-way tag-team bout against Nick Richards & Jason Miller and Biggie Smoove's Aaron Biggs & Chris "Sho Smoove" Lea to retain the titles.

Chase Dakota defeated "the 1st" Ric Converse by pinfall with an illegal assist using the rope to win their grudge match six months in the making.

PWI Ultra-J Crown Champion Lance Lude & CWF Rising Generation League Champion Charlie Weston defeated PWI International Heavyweight Champion Zane Dawson & Holder of the Golden Ticket Roy Wilkins w/Coach Gemini when Lude tapped out Wilkins with the christo submission hold after Dawson walked out on his partner.

PWI Official William L. Cross addressed the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium and responded to a challenge we received earlier this week from Evolution Pro Wrestling, the Indiana-based group that invaded CWF Mid-Atlantic on April 19. We received correspondence from Evolution Pro earlier this week challenging any 3 CWF Mid-Atlantic wrestlers to a six man tag-team bout on July 12 at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium. Cross gave an impassioned speech accepting the challenge on behalf of CWF and was then joined by Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions the Killbillies and PWI Ultra J Champion Lance Lude who volunteered to be the 3 CWF Mid-Atlantic representatives. So July 12 at Opportunity Knocks 2014 it will be CWF Mid-Atlantic versus Evolution Pro 3 on 3!

Marcellus King defeated Jordan Flyght in the quarter finals of the 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup Tournament to win the Swede Hanson Block and advance to Weaver Cup Finals Night on August 23.

CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal pinned "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel to win the "Everything to Lose Match" that also included Donnie Dollar$ and "the Assassin" Ray Kandrack. Royal's historic title reign passes 540 days with the win and per the pre-match stipulations, Edsel cannot challenge for the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship again for one calendar year. Late in the bout PWI International Heavyweight Champion Zane Dawson attacked all four men and proclaimed his championship to be the only one that matters.

CWF returns THIS Friday night to the Alamance County Boys & Girls Club at 807 Stockard Street in Burlington for our annual Boys & Girls Club fund raiser, then we're back at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium Saturday July 12 and Saturday July 19!

Jordan Flyght catches CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion "El Jefe" Manny Garcia from behind in first-round 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament action.

Garcia explodes on Flyght on the ring ropes.

Flyght ties up the TV Champion and El Jefe is NOT happy about it!

I'm sure on this video, at this point you will hear the term "piece of crap" from Garcia!

The "Army of One" Marcellus King complains to the referee after flooring Court Montgomery in first-round 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament action.

King returns to work, considering how to torture Montgomery on the canvas.

King drives a shoulder into the midsection of Montgomery, intent on making it to the Weaver Quarterfinals match later in the evening.

King toys with Montgomery, inverting him for a slam to the canvas.

CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champion Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks gets big air before depending on gravity to squash "Lost Cause" Nick Richards in three-way tag title action.

Richards lands on a shoulder attempting to make it to his corner for a tag.

Biggie Smoove's Aaron Biggs backs Jason Miller into the corner.

Chris "Sho Smoove" Lea cranks on the wrist of the Killbillies' "South Paw" Aric Andrews.

"The 1st" Ric Converse eagerly awaits singles opponent Chase Dakota to enter the ring and face him one-on-one.

Converse blisters the chest of Dakota in the corner.

Referee Charles Richardson is pulled between Dakota and Converse by the backpeddling Dakota.

Converse is ready to finish off Dakota, looking for an opening for the Ric-Tor Scale finisher.

CWF's Golden Ticket holder Roy Wilkins gets his wrist and shoulder torqued by CWF Rising Generation League Champion Charlie Weston in tag team action.

PWI International Heavyweight Champion Zane Dawson prepares to tenderize the face of PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Lance Lude in the corner turnbuckles.

Lude looks for an opening after catching Dawson in the jaw on the turnbuckles.

Bleeding profusely, Lude forces a tap out from Wilkins in the center of the squared circle.

Lance Lude applies first aid on the floor at ringside after the bout.

Jordan Flyght leaps over Marcellus King in 2014 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament Quarterfinals action.

King drives his shoulder into the midsection of Flyght in the corner.

King hoists up Flyght for a moment of stress before dropping him to the canvas.

King has no problem taking shortcuts to get the match results he desires.

"Dangerous E" Corey Edsel, Donnie Dollar$, "Assassin" Ray Kandrack and CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Arik Royal measure each other up for the four-way main event heavyweight title match.

Edsel goes straight to the face of the champion early in the bout.

All four men battle in the squared circle in No-DQ action.

Dollar$ adds injury to insult to the Assassin in the corner turnbuckles.

POW! Right in the kisser! (with apologies to Jackie Gleason!)

PWI International Heavyweight Champion Zane Dawson strikes!

Kandrack pounds on the heavyweight champion in the corner.

Royal puts the exclamation mark on the main event driving Edsel to the canvas with a big shot to the face!
