"Army of One" Marcellus King hit the ring for singles action against Donnie Dollar$ to kick off the 2014 CWF RUMBLE! King went to war taking no prisoners, winning by pinfall in quick fashion.
Tag team action was up next with the All Stars' Walter Eaton & "Assassin" Ray Kandrack entering to take on CWF RGL Champion Charlie Weston and his returning tag partner Smith Garrett. Confusion reigned as Smith & Weston win by pinfall with the All Stars contingent shout down each other, forcing Coach Gemini & Chappy to rush to their side. CWF Cub Reporter Robby Walsh hit the ring asking the hard questions, but was brushed off quickly as the mood changed with a surprise birthday celebration erupting.
William L. Cross was asked into the ring and the parade of wrestlers wearing party hats circled the ring before entering to help the former CWF Commissioner celebrate. Lee Valiant interrupted the celebration, forcing Brad Stutts to face him one-on-one. Stutts simply informed Valiant that there was nothing between them and that he was expected to compose himself in a certain manner to continue to compete. Valiant accepted the news with a sneer and exited the arena.
"Dangerous E" Corey Edsel and Arik Royal finally stood across the ring from each other in a No-DQ Winner Enters The RUMBLE singles bout and it only took a minute to become a display of violence. Royal attacked Edsel with a steel chair on the outside of the ring, taking advantage of the No Disqualification rules. After an unusual attack to the hand of Edsel, Royal earned his spot in the RUMBLE via pinfall.
Jason Miller & "Lost Cause" Nick Richards awaited the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Killbillies' "Honky Kong" Evan Banks & "South Paw" Aric Andrews w/"Barefoot" Bobby Joe Neil. In what has to be considered an upset, Miller & Richards pull off the pinfall, winning the titles AND spots in the RUMBLE main event.
CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Roy Wilkins w/Coach Gemini & Chappy were out next to accept the challenge of Chet Sterling inside of the squared circle. Sterling put on quite a display of skill but fell short to the champion, putting away Sterling by pinfall.
After the introduction of CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion "El Jefe" Manny Garcia, he was informed that his contracted opponent had not showed, causing him to begin celebrating. The celebration was cut short as he was informed that he would defend the title, right then against Trevor Lee. Lee hit the ring and a mat wrestling bout erupted for the TV Title. A violent battle ensued before the ten minute television time limit expired, leaving the title with Garcia by rule.
Thirty competitors had entered the 14th Annual CWF RUMBLE and after over an HOUR of battle, only Trevor Lee, Lance Lude & Lee Valiant remained. With all three men exhausted, it became a war of attrition with Lee making a rare miscalculation and then hitting the floor for elimination. Valiant had the match well in hand at this point, screaming at the announce table for someone to determine that Lude is unable to continue. The PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion just kept getting back up every time he was knocked down in an incredible combination of will and stamina. Lude collapsed as Valiant hit the floor in elimination, barely able to celebrate winning the only battle that gives him a shot at ANY CWF Mid Atlantic Title of his choice!
