CWF's First Christmas Party - The Road To BattleCade XVII Begins A New Yearly Tradition In Gibsonville!

A Special Report!

Mid Atlantic Sportatorium

Gibsonville, NC

12.03.16

The evening began with Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Mecha Mercenary and Aaron Biggs tossing presents out to the crowd. They were interrupted by Ethan Alexander Sharpe, who in the spirit of Christmas, offered the champs an undisclosed sum of money and a "two hundred dollar gift card for sandwiches" to BUY the tag-team championship. The champs kept the gift card but gave Sharpe his money back, telling him to instead use the money to recruit himself a partner for a tag-team title bout later on.

Rising Generation League Champion Dirty Daddy defeated The Fury of Him with Sis by pinfall. After the bout Dirty was attacked by both until Snooty Foxx made the save.

"The Party Starter" Keith Mac defeated Xsiris, Joey Rogers and Cain Justice to survive a fatal four way elimination bout to earn a shot at the Worldwide Television Championship on December 17 in Matthews, NC. Justice eliminated Rogers by submission to the twist ending, Mac eliminated Justice after a rydeen bomb and then Mac eliminated Xsiris after X was distracted by a gang of Christmas carolers at ringside led by Smith Garrett.

CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Mecha Mercenary and Aaron Biggs defeated Ethan Alexander Sharpe and his partner of choice "Ace" Arik Royal to retain the titles. Sharpe was pinned after Royal walked out on the match, citing he'd already been paid by Sharpe.

Nick Richards defeated "White" Mike Jordan in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight with Santa as the special guest referee.

PWI Ultra J Champion Chet Sterling addressed his injuries after being piledriven and stretchered out of Ultimate Survivor by Lee Valiant. Sterling announced that he had agreed to a No Disqualification Match against Valiant for Battlecade X-Seven with the Ultra J Championship at stake where the piledriver hold will be legalized.

Roy Wilkins with Coach Gemini & Jarry Carey defeated Walter Eaton in a battle of the former partners in the Goon Squad after Kamakazi Kid made a surprise return attacking Eaton.

PWI Heavyweight Champion Ric Converse appeared, once again without his championship belt that C.W. Anderson has been in possession of ever since the CWF Rumble in October. Converse offered Anderson the chance to show up at Battlecade X-Seven on Dec 30 and fight for the championship like a man.

CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee versus Otto Schwanz was thrown out when Lee's Battlecade X-Seven challenger Brad Attitude hit the scene attacking Trevor. Attitude attempted to cut Trevor's hair after earlier in the night in a taped message comparing Trevor to Samson from the Bible, saying once his Mid-Atlantic Championship was gone after Battlecade, his power would be gone also. Referee Robby Walsh jumped in to prevent the attack but then Attitude attacked Robby Walsh and cut HIS hair. Trevor rose to his feet and chased Attitude out of the building before giving an impassioned speech where Trevor vowed to stand tall at Battlecade despite Attitude's hand picked stipulations for their match.

CWF returns to the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium THIS Saturday Dec. 10 for a special charity event, then we invade Matthews, North Carolina on Saturday Dec. 17 and our anniversary extravaganza Battlecade X-Seven takes place Friday Dec. 30 at the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium!

CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee and "Wrestling Machine" Otto Schwanz prepare to lock up for the gold.

Lee wants to test the power of Schwanz.

Schwanz catches a Lee boot to the face and lets gravity take over.

Back on his feet and in control, Otto takes liberties with the champion.

Coach Gemini produces a doctor's note requiring Schwanz to wear protective headgear while wrestling...

...And with the new advantage the Wrestling Machine kicks it into overdrive.

Trevor Lee goes for the fingers of the big man after removing the face mask and tossing it out of the ring.

Brad Attitude runs in and attacks Trevor Lee!

Attitude takes the hair of referee Robby Walsh who got between Attitude and Lee.

Trevor Lee finds a sudden equalizer before Attitude can cut his hair.

Attitude leaves feeling he's made his point prior to BattleCade XVII.

The champion refuses to back down despite numerous attacks by Attitude.
