Gil Quest and former CWF Tag Champion Devin Dalton kicked off the action at CWF BATTLECADE XVI, with a hard-hitting and fast-paced singles bout. Dalton won the match by pinfall to kick off the anniversary event.

Darius Lockhart hit the ring to battle current RGL Champion Jesse Adler in the 2015 Rising Generation League Tournament Final. Adler was presented a new RGL title strap after winning the tournament to retain the championship.

Dave Dawson hit the ring angry to take on Aaron Biggs in singles action. The two heavyweights collided and the fight spilled into the floor before Dawson decided he was no longer interested in fighting and left the arena. Biggs wins by countout.

Former Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions "Honky Kong" Evan Banks fought his former partner Aric Andrews in singles action with Bobby O'Neil at ringside with Banks. Banks got his bell rang by an Andrews knee and then hit his head on the steel ringpost and unable to respond forcing the referee to stop the match.

Lee Valiant entered next to face off against his former tag partner in the Riot, "Lost Cause" Nick Richards, in singles action. They brawled on the floor until Richards seized the opportunity to drop an elbow on him on the concrete floor, allowing him to secure the pinfall win.

"Handsome" Mitch Connor came to the ring to congratulate Richards when five bizarre individuals entered the arena looking for a fight. Michael McAllister, Sis, Prakash Sabar, Number Man & CB Suave came looking for a match and after the introductions of Donnie Dollar$, Matthew de Nero and former Mid Atlantic Champion "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel, they got their wish. The impromptu reunion of Fatback Enterprises took the win by pinfall to a roar from the packed house.

Ethan Alexander Sharpe hit the ring to challenge PWI International Ultra-J Crown Champion Ethan Case for the sanctioning body's international junior heavyweight title. Case and Sharpe traded blows but Case was able to defend his title successfully by forcing Sharpe to submit.

PWI International Heavyweight Champion Zane Dawson entered from the lobby to defend his belt against former world champion Ric Converse. Converse withstood the storm burst of Dawson to take control of the bout and win the title by pinfall.

Coach Gemini hit the ring with the house mic to demand that Kamakazi Kid pick his choice of a partner for his match against CWF Tag Team Champions Arik Royal and "Assassin". After getting into it with the ring official, security's Snooty Foxx physically removed the Coach from the ring. Kazi revealed Xsiris as his partner to challenge the tag champs and Kandrack and Royal hit the ring ready for war. The tag champions took the duke via pinfall to retain the titles.

CWF World Wide Television Champion Cedric Alexander arrived in midring to await challenger Smith Garrett. As the traditional 10-minute time limit was announced, the champion asked for an extended time limit so he could "beat on the challenger at least 20 minutes." Officials at ringside agreed and a slobber-knocker commenced. Garrett got the pinfall for the win around the fourteen minute mark and when the official presented the belt to Garrett, Alexander grabbed a house mic and explained that by rule the title was only on the line for the first ten minutes. The same ringside officials that extended the time then disagreed with Cedric Alexander, disagreed and awarded the title to Garrett.

Six Pack Challenge action for the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title hit the ring next with Trevor Lee, Lance Lude, All Star Roy Wilkins, Chet Sterling, "Southern Saviour" John Skyler & CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Brad Attitude all vying for the title. It was nearly 24 minutes into the battle before champion Brad Attitude was the first man eliminated, followed about ten minutes later by Chet Sterling. John Sklyer and then Lance Lude were eliminated leaving Trevor Lee to battle Roy Wilkins. Wilkins couldn't finish off Lee, but a dastardly run-in with a steel chair by Kamakazi Kid helped his teammate regain the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title.
