CWF Mid Atlantic returned to it's home base of Burlington NC's Carolina Sports Arena with two titles being challenged on the card. Action in the ring began as "Gate City Sinner" Trent Wylde and RGL Champion "Jersey" Nick Richards hit the ring to do battle with Alex Adonis and former RGL Champ Roy "Rage" Wilkins in tag team action. Fast-paced action resulted, as all four competitors have had history in the squared circle in the past and were eager to repay old debts. Adonis & Wilkins walked away victorious, allowing Wilkins the opportunity for a measure of revenge on the man who ruined his chance to carry the RGL strap for two straight years, current RGL Champ Richards.

In what was termed as "Steve Greene Special 10 Minute TV Challenge" action, former CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion "General" Michael McAllister stepped up to do battle with big Tank Lawson. Lawson has contended for some time that Greene has been ducking him and was once again tossed a trial to determine whether he is worthy of the title shot, the rules stated he had to defeat McAllister in the 10 minute time limit or lose. Lawson started fast, unexpectedly shooting his opponent to the canvas over and over with violent arm-drags. McAllister turned the tide in the second half of the time limit, stunning the former tag champ with boots and elbows. Lawson seemed to come out of a deep sleep as the 8 minute mark in the bout was announced, turning up the heat and pinning McAllister in under eight and a half minutes to win the challenge.

Singles action was scheduled next, with the masked Canadian Assassin was to face off against Destiny's Lee Valiant, but before the bell could sound, Fatback Enterprises hit the ring. Disposing of the Assassin, Dollar$, Connor, de Nero & Stutts turned their anger toward Valiant, whose manager and partner were not in attendance. Brass Munkey, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride & Commissioner Cross hit the ring to break up the melee and the angry Commissioner ordered a six-man bout with Dollar$, Connor & de Nero competing against Valiant, Munkey & McBride. Valiant immediately indicated that he could continue and the bell sounded over the complaints of manager Brad Stutts.

McBride stepped through the ropes for his team to find the returning "Handsome" Mitch Connor waiting. After a painful toss, Connor retreated to his corner to tag in Dollar$. Munkey hit the ring to tangle with the big man, allowing Valiant to catch his breath before entering the fray. Despite the continued complaints of Stutts he was eventually forced to witness his team submit to the Valiant team. The dysfunctional Fatback family began to disintegrate in the ring with fingers pointed and a stunned look on the face of de Nero, who never entered the match, despite instructions to do so by his manager.

The lights went out and the Insiders-Tron® came to life with a creepy riddle-shrouded video supplied by an unknown person who has been telling people he was coming to CWF on the internet. A second "clue" was supposedly uncovered in the video, with a coded message revealing itself to be the word "defeat".

Sheik Lumpkin hit the ring with the "Italian Assassin" Gregory Vercetti for a singles bout against former world tag champion Xsiris. Vercetti ran a gameplan to keep X's feet on the ground, in hopes of not being nailed by one of the high-flyer's signature moves from the ropes. Xsiris did go to the top ropes late only to have his opponent move out of his way, but held on to rack up a pinfall victory despite the efforts of the Sheik at ringside.

After announcing that Tank Lawson was not allowed in the building, "Simply" Steve Greene hit the ring to defend the CWF Mid Atlantic TV Title against former champion Mikael Yamaha. Greene opened up fast, sending the fan-favorite to the canvas in the corner with a series of shoulders to the midsection. Yamaha, always a gamer, got his second wind and floored the champion with a violent high-speed clothesline. The champion and challenger continued to brawl as the traditional ten minute television time limit expired, allowing Greene to leave the building once again with his strap. Commissioner Cross took exception to the ending of the bout and announced that on March 15th that Greene would defend in a rematch against Yamaha with a special fifteen minute time limit.

Sheik Lumpkin entered for the main event with his assistant "General" McAllister and challenger "Militant M.A.K." Marcellus King, calling out the man he pinned a couple of weeks ago in non-title action, CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "the 1st" Ric Converse. Converse hit the arena to the roar of the fans and stepped through the ropes to square off against King. Sheik Lumpkin announced that he wanted the bout to be a "clean" match, to even further demonstrate his confidence in a King victory. Converse started fast, only to be worn down by the larger challenger in the first ten minutes of the bout, keeping the action close to the mat. Lumpkin admonished McAllister at ringside for brandishing a chain, sticking to his declaration of a "clean" bout, but Converse refused to give up. King continued to pour on the punishment and lifted the champion up to chest level, spinning around and knocking down referee Charles Richardson with the flying boots of Converse.

King made the cover, cradling Converse for a possible three-count as the official writhed in pain on the canvas. After getting back to his feet to complain about no count, Converse took advantage of the official's return to consciousness to roll up King for an unexpected pinfall win to retain the title. THEN...All hell broke loose. The irate King began taking jabs at his ineffective manager, finally resulting in Gregory Vercetti making his way to the ring to find out what was going on. Together with McAllister, all three realized they lost their matches and turned their anger toward the Sheik. McAllister climbed onto the ring apron as King lifted the wirey manager into position for a piledriver. McAllister jumped from the apron while holding his former manager's ankles, driving Lumpkin's head into the concrete with a spike piledriver. Lumpkin, with his head gashed open and in great pain, was pummelled by his former charges before officials and wrestlers cleared the ring area. Commissioner Cross ordered the event to be ended as he and several persons helped the injured Sheik to a waiting vehicle for transport to the hospital.
