The house was rocking as the first match hit the CWF Mid Atlantic ring in Burlington NC's Carolina Sports Arena with a special four-way RGL Contender battle between former RGL champ "Jersey" Nick Richards, Chase Dakota, "Memphis" Matt Smith & Arik Royale. The battle spilled onto the floor at ringside as all four went at it, with Royale dragging Richards out of the concession area wearing a Kane mask. Despite an impressive offensive flurry by Richards, he couldn't pull out a pinfall because of the nature of the match, with everyone fighting in and out of the ring. The popular favorite, Royale, seemed to have the match in his hands before he went back to the floor, leaving Dakota & Smith alone in the squared circle. A moment away from making a name in the area for himself, "Memphis" Matt pulled off the impossible, a pinfall that catapults him into the slot of #1 Contender for the Chiva Kid's RGL title.

Former Mid Atlantic champion Otto Schwanz was out next for a singles tilt against young Cecil Scott. Overpowered, Scott was obviously at a loss of how to handle the former TNA & WWE performer, who arrived at the arena directly from the Planet Otto moments before his ring introduction. Using the Force® and speaking in perfect Gibberish, Schwanz continued to torture his confused but game opponent, drawing laughs from the fans at ringside. With about 2 minutes remaining in the time limit, Schwanz returned to Earth for a moment of clarity to pin Scott before beaming out of the arena again to return from where he came...

Singles action was up next as the current RGL champion, a recent assault victim at the hands of Aftermath's Ric Converse, the masked Chiva Kid, stepped up to face the former five-time heavyweight champion in the middle of the ring. Converse arrived at the ring with William L. Cross in tow, climbed into the ring and was attacked before he even got his leather coat off. Chiva went for broke early, trying to steal a win fast in order to even the score for his injured knee. Coming off of the top rope, Chiva Kid landed on the canvas where Converse had been moments earlier only to find the furious "1st" on the attack. Converse twisted the injured knee around the ring ropes, kicked his knee and tied him upside down in the corner turnbuckles before making the youngest Chiva cry out in pain with a single-leg Boston crab. Chiva Kid tried to battle back, making a last-ditch effort from the top ropes, but to no avail, as Cross did light his customary victory cigar as he escorted "the 1st" Ric Converse out of the arena.

Six man grudge tag action was up next as VIPs "King of Heat" Gemini Kid & Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega renewed their alliance with Destiny's "High Definition" Steve Greene & Ty Dillinger. The team of Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, Tank Lawson & Alex Adonis w/Crystal Clear hit the arena to a roar from the fans, the official called for the bell and mayhem ensued. The fan-favorites took the lead early, with steady tags and an occassional four-count double-team, frustrating the vocal Dillinger at ringside. Ten minutes or so into the match, Adonis' valet Crystal Clear found herself face-to-face with Cecil Scott, who was clearly smitten enough by the young lady to approach her at ringside before being spurned. With melodrama occuring at ringside, the Destiny/VIP team cut Adonis from his team and began to try to dismantle the powerful star. Adonis continued to fight back, confounding his team's opponents until they decided to resort to treachery. Manager Ty Dillinger tossed the infamous brass knuckles into the ring behind the official's back and once again helped steal a match for his team by knockout.

Mid Atlantic Heavyweight champion Brass Munkey was out next in street clothes to speak to the fans. Moments into his words, RCW Heavyweight champion Aftermath's Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King interrupted and the two got face-to-face. Hostilities erupted and the two battled tooth-and-claw to the floor and back into the ring again before King grabbed up the CWF title and clobbered Munkey with it as he was getting back to his feet. The promo for the following night's Title V. Title bout at RCW's HUSTLE ON TAP turned ugly as King slid down onto the canvas beside the crumpled champion and spit hatred.

The CWF Mid Atlantic Television Title was up for grabs as challenger "Handsome" Mitch Connor, a former champion, hit the ring to face the popular Lee Valiant. Connor smartly started the bout by keeping Valiant grounded and wrestling on the mat. Valiant patiently displayed his mat wrestling talents before the match went to a vertical base, where Valiant promptly displayed his "American Beauty" dropkick, which turned the match's momentum back toward the champion. Flying at the savvy challenger from the ropes, Valiant had the fans on their feet as Connor made one last charge for the title. Catching the champion climbing the corner turnbuckles, Connor moved in as he climbed but was then caught by Valiant as he flipped off of the ropes, landing the "Very Handsome Gentleman" face-first onto the canvas. Valiant floated over for the cover and retained the TV title by pinfall.

Fatback Enterprises made their way en force to the ring area to challenge for the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team titles. The tag champions, Bobby O'Neill's Syndicate, were introduced but only "the Fury" Michael McAllister made his way to the ring. Taking the house mic, McAllister explained that his manager and partner were not there, so there would be no tag title bout. Assistant Commissioner Cornelius J. Lumpkin entered and ordered the bout to take place as a handicap match as in previous cases, or to forfeit the titles. McAllister considered his fate as Roo-D Lewis danced his way to the ring to offer his assistance. I think. After Lewis was dispatched, the bell rang for handicap title action and "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel & Donnie Dollar$ went to work. McAllister battled offensively, battering both opponents in turn, but his will fell short about three minutes into the match. Overwhelmed, the Fatback team began to abuse him and finally left him lying on the canvas as they celebrated. McAllister took that opportunity to roll out of the ring, collect his tag belt and exit the arena. The official made the count, awarding the match to Fatback Enterprises, with the Syndicate retaining their titles by rule.

The Kamakazi Kid's intro video played across the InsidersTron™ and someone wearing his mask entered the ring with great difficulty. The "impostor" began degrading the Kamakazi Kid and finally pulled off the mask to reveal "the 1st" Ric Converse. Directing manager Cross to relieve the ringside cameraman from his equipment, dragging Grant Sawyer into the ring to ask about his friendship with Kamakazi Kid. After several unexpectedly frank and honest answers he didn't like, Converse attacked the cameraman, lifting him into the Ric-Tor Scale and driving him face-first into the canvas. After several more verbal assaults, the Aftermath left Sawyer crumpled on the canvas and exited the arena.

Premier Wrestling Showcase Heavyweight Champion Destiny's "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia entered to defend against the son of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat, Richie Steamboat. On the bell the two tangled and guest referee Lee Valiant watched as they took the fight straight to the concrete. Returning to the ring, Steamboat took control, arm-dragging the champion into low earth orbit. Going after manager Ty Dillinger, Steamboat finally got his hands on him on the floor at ringside, but was soon re-joined by Silvia. Taking it back into the ring a second time, Steamboat went to the top ropes only to be met half-way to the canvas by a Silvia drop-kick. With the momentum in his direction, the PWS champion ascended the ropes and began dropping in on the challenger from all four corners. Steamboat battled back, making his way back up to the top ropes, flying off and nailing both Silvia and referee Redd Jones. Ty Dillinger used the opportunity to help another one of his men steal yet another match, going in the books as a pinfall win for the champion, who was joined in the ring by his teammates to attack Steamboat. Guest official Valiant and incoming Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride helped the second-generation star fight off the advances of the Destiny/VIP team.
