CWF Mid Atlantic returned to the beautiful Granville Athletic Park Sports Pavilion for Wrestling At The Pavilion. The beautiful breezy spring night was a pleasant setting for the brutality which would follow as wrestling hit the ring. Non-title singles action between the current Rising Generation League champion Chiva Kid and #1 Contender Matt Smith kicked off the evening's festivities as the two familiar foes went for broke. Smith showed off his resilience and flexibility as his masked Mexican opponent reached deep into his arsenal of weapons for new ways to inflict pain. Both competitors went non-stop for the match's ten minute time limit with no clear winner decided. The official ruled the match a time limit draw as both men sagged to the canvas before exiting the ring.

Tag team action was up next as former Mid Atlantic tag champions VIPs "King of Heat" Gemini Kid & Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega stepped through the ropes to face the team of "Jersey" Nick Richards & Roy "Rage" Wilkins. After a tentative start, Ortega opened up the throttle a bit against Richards, savoring in the sound of his opponent's flesh being struck with velocity. Wilkins found himself in the ring with Gemini Kid and the two exchanged pleasantries through their attacks on each other. Richards & Wilkins stayed in the match until the very end when the viciousness of the former world tag champions reared its head and left an impression on the battered bodies of their opponents.

Alex Adonis was out next with the lovely Crystal Clear for singles action against young Jaxson Dane. Dane, who has came across as a very pleasant young man in past appearances, hit the ring in a rage, taking verbal jabs at the fans and his opponent before the bell. Adonis went about his job of dismantling his young opponent, who showed a great deal of spark despite an occassional lack of focus, impressively remained in the game from bell to bell. Adonis used his veteran savvy and power to get the hard-fought pinfall victory, and as he was leaving the ring area, the Aftermath's William L. Cross appeared. With a house mic in hand, Cross told Dane that he was sure he could become a winner with a little help and told him they would speak at a later date.

Young Cecil Scott was out next for a singles bout against veteran Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride. The popular Boogie Woogie Man hit the ring only to be attacked at the bell by Scott, which only led to the veteran having some fun at his opponent's expense. McBride dictated the match for the first seven minutes before Scott began showing off his own offensive skills, featuring several painful kicks, which sent the big man to the canvas. Scott began thinking he had a major upset in his pocket as Boogie got to his feet and hoisted up the young grappler into the air and dropped him in a textbook version of his "Saturday Night Superstar" finisher to end the match with a convincing three-count.

The main event introductions began with the entry of CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Champion the Syndicate's Michael "the Fury" McAllister, without either his partner or manager. Taking the house mic, McAllister explained that his partner Evan Banks was on the injured list for two months and that the "powers that be" had determined that the advertised title main event would go on. Using the last possible excuse to alter the match, McAllister suggested making the bout a three-way title bout by adding his friends the VIPs Gemini Kid & Jesse Ortega into the battle. The match was amended as a three-way, with McAllister confident that he had "back up" and would successfully leave Oxford with the tag titles in his possession.

The VIPs entered the ring as the signed challengers, Chase Dakota & Arik Royale entered the arena. The official called for the bell and history was made. After being relieved of two pairs of brass knuckles by the ring official early in the bout, the VIPs & McAllister worked somewhat as a unit against Royale & Dakota. Near the twenty minute mark, Dakota & Royale had McAllister flat on his back in their corner, but were frustrated by saves by Ortega & Gemini. With an opportunity staring them in the face, Gemini & Ortega voided their protection agreement by covering McAllister for the three-count, stealing the title belts during the fan's display of their displeasure.
