After a brief delay to allow officials to set up more bleachers to accomodate the influx of wrestling fans, the dedication ceremonies for the new Mid Atlantic Sportatorium officially kicked off the building's grand opening. Commissioner Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens, along with Mid Atlantic Sports owner William L. Cross, entered the arena along with very special guests Jimmy Valiant, Don Kernodle, Rocky Kernodle, Rich Landrum, Wendy Weaver & Pops Wenkel. Wenkel was presented a plaque honoring him for his dedication to the vision of Mid Atlantic tradition, as well as for all of his work in completing the new facility. The daughter of wrestling legend Johnny Weaver, Wendy, then made the presentation of the new Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup to the 2008 champion Brass Munkey (who had the old Cup trophy broken across his back by Ric Converse). Jimmy Valiant & Don Kernodle were then both inducted into the exclusive CWF Mid Atlantic Hall of Fame before Wendy Weaver herself was presented with a plaque honoring the memory of her late father and made the dedication of the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium in the memory of Johnny Weaver official.

The Rising Generation League title was on the line in the first match, pitting the popular champion Chiva Kid against the #1 Contender Matt Smith. Still fired up from the previous night's altercation with his then-tag partner Chiva, Smith hit the ring with a mission and refused to be denied. Chiva Kid found out first-hand the war was on when Smith caught him with a forearm to the mouth. The two battled evenly for the most part, but Smith pulled out all stops late, winning the title convincingly by pinfall in the center of the squared circle.

The 2009 Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament kicked off next with a first round bout between former champion Otto Schwanz and Sgt. Long. The good sergeant obviously had not scouted his opponent, who was on his craziest game yet, totally oblivious to logic and reason. Long spent most of the bout trying to escape the grasp of the powerhouse Schwanz, who promptly finished the bout when the 30 second remaining announcement was made after toying with his opponent for most of the bout.

Tourneo Cibernetico action was up next, pitting 16 wrestlers on two teams battling to be the final two combatants standing for a shot at the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team titles. Team Syndicate (Bad News Johnson, Ray Kandrack, Cecil Scott, Jaxson Dane, Ty Tyson, Trevor Lee, Sean McCulley & Michael "the Fury" McAllister) made their way to the ring to await the arrival of Team Fatback (Corey Edsel, Donnie Dollar$, Nick Richards, Roy Wilkins, Alex Adonis, Mitch Connor, Chase Dakota & Arik Royale). The bell sounded beginning the elimination match and everyone with the exception of McAllister locked up with an opponent or two before tagging in a fresh man. Almost 9 minutes into the bout Bad News Johnson became the first to be eliminated with the next elimination, Chase Dakota happening near the 15 minute mark.

Double and triple teams occured as the three-referee team attempted to maintain control, which became more difficult as the match progressed. Eliminations continued, in favor of Team Fatback until only McAllister, Edsel & Dollar$ remained. Taking aim at the only "real" member of the Syndicate, the last two remaining members of Team Fatback dumped McAllister out of the ring to become make "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel & Donnie Dollar$ the new official #1 Contenders for the tag titles held by the VIPs "King of Heat" Gemini Kid & Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega.

A twist of fate then had the Cibernetico followed by a CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Title defense by the VIPs against former champion "Box Office Draw" Mikael Yamaha and a partner of his choice. Yamaha took the house mic and introduced the lovely Amber O'Neal as his partner and the official called for the bell. Yamaha and former championship partner Gemini kicked it off, with O'Neal tagged in to do battle. When she tagged out next, Yamaha found himself drug into the VIP corner, where the diabolical champions did everything they could to try to force Yamaha to submit. As the match continued, O'Neal found herself in the ring with Ortega, who she immediately floored with a vicious clothesline. The grueling give and take battle continued for just over twenty minutes when the VIPs finished the match winning by pinfall. Leaving the ring with their titles in hand, the VIPs were almost passed on the entranceway by Yamaha's former championship partner Xsiris. Tense words and insinuations followed, with bitterness in the voice of Yamaha and disbelief in the voice of Xsiris.

During intermission, the fans had the opportunity to meet "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant. As the wrestlers were called back to the locker room area prior to resuming action, "Handsome" Jimmy found himself at the mercy of a five-on-one attack by Destiny's "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia, "High Definition" Steve Greene & Ty Dillinger and tag champoins VIPs Gemini Kid & Jesse Ortega. Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride & Lee Valiant rushed out to make the save, but the damage was done, leaving "Handsome" Jimmy lying crumpled on the entryway.

After nearly a year of medical retirement, the daredevil Kamakazi Kid returned to the ring to face the challenge of Aftermath's Ric Converse in a highly-anticipated grudge match. Converse tried to get inside of the head of his masked opponent at the bell, demanding that he shake his hand and "wrestle by the rules". The two then lit into each other with pent up rage, with Kazi blistering the chest of the former world champion in the corner and then backflipping across him on the canvas. Heeding manager William L. Cross's suggestion, Converse took the war to the floor, where Kazi obligingly followed. Rearranging several rows of chairs brawling, Converse hoisted up his masked opponent and ran his injured spine into the steel ringpost. Feeling the match was won, Converse rolled Kazi back into the ring and began to batter him even more. Barely standing (or "playing 'possum"), Kamakazi Kid surprised Converse with a superkick to the back of the skull, which allowed him to put an exclamation point on the match and pin him for a clean victory. As Kazi exited the arena, "Jersey" Nick Richards w/Brad Stutts entered the arena carrying a baseball bat to repay the insult from Converse.

Manager William L. Cross was out again for the very next bout, leading out Aftermath's Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King for a shot at the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title, currently held by Brass Munkey. The two familiar foes took up where the left off at RCW Hustle On Tap and the match became a brawl. Fighting in the ring, on the floor and in the first two rows of chairs, the brawl continued until the ring official was forced to count both competitors out after they ignored his orders to return to the ring. Brass Munkey retained the title, leaving the arena with both of his title belts over his shoulder.

The ABSOLUTE JUSTICE 3 main event was introduced, with Destiny's Silvia, Greene & Dillinger in the ring as the irate short-handed team of Rob McBride & Lee Valiant rushed the ring. As the bell rang, Destiny dropped to the concrete to meet them, and together the five wiped out two rows of chairs brawling and battling up into the bleachers. The fired-up Boogie & Lee kept the war going on all fronts until McBride found himself isolated in the ring and his arm being battered by all three members of Destiny. When he finally made the tag, Lee Valiant entered as McBride exited the ring slowly, favoring his injured arm. Silvia tagged in and went to work on Valiant, turning and dropkicking McBride to the floor and taunting Valiant about having "no one in his corner". The familiar sound of "Son of a Gypsy" roared through the sound system and "Handsome" Jimmy made his way to the ring, ready for war. Climbing onto the ring apron and waiting for the tag, "Handsome" Jimmy finally got into the match, catching manager Ty Dillinger and dropping him to the canvas like a sack of laundry with a Johnny Weaver-inspired sleeper lock. The official called for the bell, awarding the match to the team of Hall of Famer "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride & Lee Valiant
