Cross Resigns as AWA President!
AWA President William L. Cross offered to resign his office in return for CWF Commissioner Ty Dillinger's signature on the documents to remove CWF Mid Atlantic from the AWA. Dillinger agreed, after every member of the roster sided with Cross, witnessing the resignation documents of Cross and pulling CWF out of the AWA. Unknown to him, he also signed a contract for "Infamous Icon" Joey Silvia to face former three-time Mid Atlantic Champion "the 1st" Ric Converse at the time and place of the challenger's choosing. Converse announced the match will take place on Saturday August 11th at Burlington NC's Carolina Sports Arena, and added that he has already signed a manager for that evening, William L. Cross!

Dollar$ punishes Dee in the ring ropes as the official looks on.
Dee drives Dollar$ face-first to the canvas.
Mikael Yamaha offers a hand to Matty Dee as he is perched on the top turnbuckles.
Yamaha sounds off to Stutts after decking Dollar$ himself, allowing Dee an easy pinfall victory.
Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King watches the referee count as he covers "Jersey" Nick Richards in tag team action.

Dillinger looks over the contracts after Cross offered to resign as President of the AWA in return for pulling CWF Mid Atlantic out of the AWA, leaving Cross powerless.
The "VIPs" (self-proclaimed AWA World Tag Champions Gemini Kid & Jesse Ortega, Commissioner Ty Dillinger & Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Joey Silvia) consult as Cross asks for their votes on whether to leave the AWA or not.
"The 1st" Ric Converse enters after Cross was ordered to leave the building following the contract signings.
Silvia reacts to the news that he must defend his title against Converse on August 11th after Dillinger was duped into signing the contract.
Brass Munkey hangs the CWF Mid Atlantic logo on the TV set where the AWA logo used to be.
Security Chief Pedro keeps a wary eye on manager Brad Stutts after he offers a hand of solidarity to Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride.
McBride & Munkey show their disdain for the American Wrestling Association after the unanimous vote was taken to leave the AWA.
